These are some of the most commonly asked questions when visiting our attractions.

Is there an age limit?

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  We do not suggest bringing children under the age of 13, but it is up to the parents.  If your child can handle watching an “R” rated horror movie, then they should be fine here.

Do you have to reserve a spot or buy tickets ahead of your visit?

No, any night we are open for our Halloween events you can just show up and purchase tickets at our box office on location!  We accept credit cards, debit cards, or cash at the box office.

Are you open if it rains?

Of course! Our indoor Dungeon of Darkness and five minute escape rooms are always open regardless of weather conditions.  We also modify our Zombie Zone to suit the weather.  If any of the other attractions are closed due to weather we will notify you via social media.

Do you sell food and beverages?

We have a great concession stand that sells hot dogs, chips, sodas, water, nachos, hot chocolate, candy and much more at a very reasonable price!  However, due to the nature of our halloween event, we do not sell alcohol or allow alcohol on the premises.

Do any attractions have flashing lights?

All 3 of our main attractions use flashing or strobe lights sporadically through the events.  For those with light sensitivity, we recommend our five minute escape rooms or the Break Room.

Is it dark inside the attractions?

Both the Indoor Dungeon of Darkness and the Outdoor Dark Knight’s Terror Trail have periods of complete darkness.

Are there any live animals used in the haunt?

No, we do not use any live animals in our attractions.  Most of our actors aren’t even living…

Do you use fog or smoke in your attractions?

Fog machines are used outside only.  Due to our smoke alarm system there is no fog anywhere indoors.  The fog we use outside is a safe, water based fog solution.

Do you have fast passes?

Yes!  This year we offer R.I.P. tickets which include fastpasses into all 3 of our haunts!  We do our best to make sure wait lines at the haunt are low so we have not needed them in the past.

Do you offer refunds?

No, all ticket sales are final and non refundable.  We are here to scare and entertain.  You may be shocked and possibly offended.  Vulgar language and adult humor may also be used.  Purchase tickets at your own risk.

Are you hiring?

Dark Castle is solely run by volunteers.  Of course there are perks for volunteering your time, but no one receives any wages.  If you are interested in becoming a part of the Dark Castle family, please call or email us and we will get you information.
